Butterflies

I took Maya to the butterfly exhibit at the science museum where I got these great shots!! It was such a peaceful and relaxing place to be!! Maya loved it! She even sat down and watched the butterflies flutter around. Those of you that know her know that sitting down in one place for longer than two minutes is a great feat for her. I guess I found something that has captured her attention! ;)

Holly, Joe & Baby Emma

High school sweethearts, Holly and Joe are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby girl, Emma Kay. I had the pleasure of documenting their last few weeks before she enters the world and before their life, as they know it, will drastically change!

They are such a cute couple and I had a lot of fun photographing them! They have also designed a room fit for a princess! Emma Kay is going to love it! Can't wait to meet her!

Stepping Out

One thing about Maya is that she is very, very careful and extremly cautious. She's able to walk, but still takes her time and likes to feel things out when she comes upon a road block. This series of shots was taken today. I opened the door and went outside thinking Maya would follow...however, there was a big step. She immediately stopped and tried to figure out how she was going to step out! She tried many, many times and in a variety of ways.....finally...she became brave and just went for it! She's a bold and daring girl!!!
