JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes: Houston, TX Event Photographer

I was so excited to shoot the JDRF walk to cure diabetes for the second time! Last year was so much fun and I'm so grateful I got asked again! This is a huge event to raise money for juvenile diabetes. Although I'm not sure about the numbers for this year, I know it is well over 1 million dollars!

The best part of being a photographer, besides being able to make your own schedule, is meeting such great people! Yes, they are my clients, but when the jobs done I consider them friends. I loved meeting and working with Lauren & Shawn. Their laid-back wedding was fun, filled with emotion and overall just a sweet and simple occasion. I loved being a part of it. Congrats to Lauren & Shawn and I wish them a lifetime of happiness!

I wouldn't be lying if I said that Jackie has the most infectious smile I have EVER seen! I've never seen someone light up a room as she did on her wedding day! Kenyon is a lucky man! :) Congrats to Jackie and Kenyon and wishing you both health and happiness! More pics to come!!
