Stepping Out

One thing about Maya is that she is very, very careful and extremly cautious. She's able to walk, but still takes her time and likes to feel things out when she comes upon a road block. This series of shots was taken today. I opened the door and went outside thinking Maya would follow...however, there was a big step. She immediately stopped and tried to figure out how she was going to step out! She tried many, many times and in a variety of ways.....finally...she became brave and just went for it! She's a bold and daring girl!!!

I had the pleasure of photographing my beautiful cousin, Sapna, and her equally beautiful friend, Jenna for their senior portraits! The day was almost perfect....it was very windy, but I guess that made for a great "wind-blown hair" look! LOL!

Check out Stoney the dog and Tigger the cat. What a pair! Stoney looks mean, but is the complete opposite. Tigger looks friendly, but he's the complete opposite! Go figure!


I do have to admit, though....they were my best subjects. No complaining, no noise and they knew their best angle ;)
